Concerns about 5G-aviation safety emerged in 2021 and became a global media frenzy because they touched on public safety and the commercial aspects of policy decision-making related to spectrum allocation and utilization. This paper aims to provide awareness and understanding of the potential impacts of 5G on public safety and how to operationally manage such an impact as more new technologies are adopted.
